Frederico Macheda scored his fifth goal in eight games for Birmingham during their 3-3 draw with Burnley.
The Manchester United loanee netted with his first touch after coming on in the second half, before scoring a dramatic 90th-minute equaliser for the Championship side as they held Sean Dyche's promotion-chasing visitors.
Macheda has hit form since moving to St Andrew's on loan and also has some form scoring in six-goal thrillers, having netted in Birmingham's 3-3 draw with Derby earlier in the season.
But the Italian wasn't the only loanee to score on the night for Lee Clark's men, with Manchester City's Emyr Huws also finding the net with a spectacular strike.
It was Italian Macheda, though, who struck the telling blow as the Midlands side secured a point in dramatic fashion.
"It was a terrific finish, he's [Macheda] done really well," Birmingham boss Clark told Blues TV.
"The lads who have come off the bench have made a massive contribution to us so we're delighted with the response."
Birmingham sit 19th in the Championship table, eight points above the relegation zone, but will no doubt be encouraged by Macheda's goalscoring exploits, as well as Huws' man-of-the-match performances since joining on loan.
The future could indeed be a bright one for the pair - and there could still be life in 22-year-old Macheda just yet.
Can Macheda force his way back into the Man United reckoning?
