Chelsea sit top of the league and are closing in on another Premier League title, but manager Jose Mourinho continues to pile the pressure on rivals Manchester City by suggesting Manuel Pellegrini's side are clear favourites for the title because they have three games in hand on the Blues, and should they win all three, they will return to the summit of the Premier League.

But Mourinho's incessant comments about City have riled midfielder Yaya Toure, who has slammed the Portuguese boss for being disrespectful.

"He is a coach and he must give respect a little bit," said Toure. "He is always talking about everyone and that is not the correct way.

"That is why Barcelona always beat Real Madrid when Mourinho was here. I think he talks more than before, perhaps because the English press likes it," he added.

As if Chelsea couldn't wind people up enough, it's being reported that Mourinho has told the Chelsea hierarchy that Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa is the striker he wants to sign in the summer. The Blues have struggled up front this season with Samuel Eto'o, Demba Ba and Fernando Torres struggling to hit the back of the net.

Costa, who has been scoring goals for fun this season, is a renowned wind-up merchant and looks a perfect fit for Mourinho's side, with his physical, aggressive nature.

Another named linked with a move to West London today is Lazio utility man Senad Lulic. The 28-year-old can play in either full back positions or on the flanks, and has starred for the Rome-based club since his move from Swiss side Young Boys in 2011. His versatility is likely to be the most appealing attribute for the £9m rated Bosnian, with a potential bidding war between Chelsea and Juventus in the summer.
