When Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk posted a picture of himself on Instagram flying to London with his agent, several sources out two and two together to come up with five suggesting it meant he was on his way to talk to one of the big London clubs.
Hulk has not had a great time since he moved to Zenit in 2012, often having to endure the negative elements of Russian football as well as reported confrontations with former Zenit boss Luciano Spalletti.
However, the real reason the forward was in London according to 101goals is because he was attending a photo shoot.
“And, it looks like Hulk was in London for a photo shoot – presumably for the World Cup – rather than to sign for Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham etc,” writes 101goals.
He could still end up at Arsenal or Chelsea ahead of next season, with a summer transfer window which is bound to be crammed full of activity following the World Cup this summer.
He’s bagged nine goals and five assists in the Russian Premier Liga so far this season and with the Gunners and the Blues both in need of additional attacking support, he could be making another trip to London with his agent in July.
