A round up of the latest news stories and transfer rumours about Liverpool from the past 24 hours.

Liverpool have been handed a huge boost ahead of the game against Manchester United with the news that Lucas and Mamadou Sakho should be available for the game. The Mirror has reported that the duo should both be available after featuring for the under-21s last week.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he feels forward Iago Aspas has indirectly helped dynamic strike partnership Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. Aspas has struggled to make an impact at Anfield following his move from Celta Vigo.

“I feel for the likes of Iago. He works tirelessly every day. He hasn’t got a lot of minutes but he has been brilliantly professional. That indirectly helps the likes of Luis and Daniel,” he told the Liverpool Echo.

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain. The Metro claimed PSG were lining up a £35 million offer for the forward, which falls some way short of his reported buy out clause.

“Right now, with my club, the principal objective is to qualify for the Champions League. It must be unforgettable to play a Champions League game at Anfield. That’s why I really want to experience that,” said the forward.

Liverpool youngster Conor Coady has revealed he’s relishing his time on loan with Sheffield United in League One. The 21-year-old recently had his loan deal at the club extended to the end of the season.

“It’s going to be tough but this season will help me massively. I had a couple of seasons playing under-21 football and this was the season for me to go out and learn my trade,” he told Liverpool’s website.

In transfer news, the Reds have been linked with a somewhat surprising potential move for West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison. The 21-year-old is currently on loan in the Championship with QPR and Liverpool are thought to be tempted by the prospect of a bargain deal.

One player Liverpool are unlikely to get their hands on is experienced centre back Giorgio Chiellini. The Juventus star has revealed that he’s hoping to see out his career at the Italian club.

“Ending my career at Juve? I hope so, I will be 30 in August, I can't tell what will happen in the next years but there is the will from both parties to continue together,” he’s quoted by TalkSport.

A player who looks destined to leave the club is Pepe Reina. Reports indicate that Rodgers could allow the Spaniard to leave in the summer for a fee of as little as £4 million. Reina has spent this season on loan with Napoli in Serie A.

Liverpool are thought to be one of the clubs with a firm interest in signing teenager Richairo Zivkovic from Groningen. The 17-year-old forward was first linked with Brendan Rodgers’ side back in the last summer transfer window towards the end of August.
