Jan Aage Fjortoft played for Swindon Town, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Barnsley during his five years in English football.
A Norwegian international with over 70 caps for the Scandinavian country throughout his 20 year footballing career - the 46-year-old forward ended his playing days in Germany - the country he now calls home.
He had three good years with Eintracht Frankfurt before returning to Norway with a move to Stabaek in 2001 - but he has continued to have good links with Germany.
Nowadays he works as a football pundit and reporter for both Norwegian and German television.
He gained notoriety this summer for being the first man to reveal that Mesut Ozil was on his way to Arsenal.
It was a deal that came out of left-field - and many doubted the man on his belief, but he was proved right when the Gunners snapped up the German international in a club record £42.4 million deal from Real Madrid in September.
Tonight saw Ozil toil through the first-half of the second leg of Arsenal's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich - and leave the field at half-time.
Ozil however had suffered with a hamstring problem - and it seems the pundit wants to break some news once again on this Ozil-related topic.
But don't fear, Fjortoft doesn't always get it right - anyone who has followed his Julian Draxler coverage will testify to that.
But regardless of that - the strangest thing about this injury is what happened post game, according to Fjortoft.
Fjortoft has revealed on his official Twitter account...
Özil injured. Could be put for some weeks. Not official yet— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 11, 2014
Özil just went with Bayern and Germany' s doctor Müller Wohlfahrt. Didnt look good....— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 11, 2014
The fact that Ozil went with his national team doctor for assessment is odd - as surely Arsenal's staff would be wanting to take a look at him.
Hans-Muller Wohlfahrt is very much hands on with the German players regardless of their destination. He has recently worked with Lukas Podolski and Julian Draxler in their respective recoveries - as well as Ilkay Gundogan and Sami Khedira in their long-term injury issues.
But for Ozil to go off with him and not Colin Lewin et al is just simply, well ... odd.
If Fjortoft is as spot on with his injury news as he was with Ozil's transfer news - prepare for some bad news on the Mesut Ozil front.
But here's hoping he has made another error on this occasion.
As Arsenal's injury list is beginning to pile up.
