Yaya Sanogo has questioned Arsenal’s doubters ahead of the Champions League game against Bayern Munich this evening.
The young striker pointed the finger at those who don’t believe Arsenal can pull off a result in Germany, asking why they even like the game if they don’t like seeing dramatic comebacks.
Arsenal have it all to do this evening as they head into the game at the Allianz Arena 2-0 behind. The Gunners will be without Wojciech Szczesny who is suspended and Kieran Gibbs who’s been ruled out through injury.
Sanogo is unlikely to start the match as he did in the first leg but there’s no reason he can’t come off the bench late in the game and have a dramatic impact on proceedings, potentially addressing those doubters through his own actions.
It should be a fascinating 90 minutes of football.
