Space Noir, the latest game from the creators of Deus Ex: The Fall and Airmail, N-Fusion Interactive, is set to be a narrative-driven space combat game available for tablets and PC (via Steam) this Summer.
Space Noir will see you playing a bounty hunter call Hal Markham as he explores space with the help of his ship's AI, Rhonda. There are 35 missions spanning five worlds, in which Hal must aprehend 'intergalatic renegades' and take part in 'white-knuckle' space combat, say the developers.
When speaking about the game, Jeff Birns, CEO and owner of N-Fusion Interactive said, “The game is a true labor of love for us and represents not only what we learned on Deus Ex: The Fall and Air Mail, but also our belief in gamers’ renewed appetite for high quality, core games on PC and Tablets.”
The press release for Space Noir reveals that the game evokes classics such as Wing Commander and X Wing, which are some big names to live up to. You'll battle in ship-to-ship combat, boss battles, and planetary combat missions - all whilst being able to customise and upgrade your ship's weapons, defenses, maneuvers, and aesthetics.
