Chelsea morning news: PSG will block any Cavani bids, Mourinho on Torres injury

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Goal has reported that French giants Paris Saint-Germain will resist any attempts to lure Edinson Cavani away this summer.

The striker has been strongly linked with a Stamford Bridge switch following Jose Mourinho’s comments about his available strikers in the recent past.

Several clubs have also been linked with the Uruguayan but PSG don’t appear to be ready to let him go anywhere.

Jose Mourinho has revealed striker Fernando Torres will miss at least the next two games for the club.

Torres picked up a groin problem during the weekend win against Tottenham Hotspur.

“It's a muscular problem and muscular problems, even when they are small is always a couple of weeks,” said Mourinho.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has heaped praise onto full back Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Spaniard has played down both sides of the Chelsea defence this season, doing a solid job whenever he’s been called upon.

“And I think at this moment Azpilicueta is unbeatable. For many, many matches I haven’t seen one player beat Azpilicueta in an individual duel,” said the boss.
