Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft sat in on the Bayern Munich press conference ahead of the second leg Champions League clash against Arsenal.
In attendance were two key first team players; Thomas Muller and Manchester United transfer target Toni Kroos.
Fjortoft put two and two together, and couldn’t help asking Kroos if he’s going to move away from Bayern Munich in the summer, potentially joining a side that doesn’t have Champions League football.
Kroos, ever the professional, played the question down responding that he’d consider multiple options if he decided to leave Bayern Munich.
At the moment it’s a big if because Kroos has featured in important games for Pep Guardiola and there is still every chance he can get a new contract sorted out and agreed with his current employers.
David Moyes has added Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata to his midfield pack but there’s a common perception that United are still short in the middle of their side and a move for Kroos is still possible.
Kroos has been asked the question.......— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 10, 2014
Me: - Would you consider a move to a team that it's not in the Championsleague? Kroos:- I will consider everything. IF I should leave— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 10, 2014
