CONFIRMED: Hull City & Sunderland line-ups

Hull City KC South Stand

Here is how Hull City and Sunderland will line up for this afternoon's FA Cup match.

Hull City starting XI: McGregor, Figueroa, Rosenior, Chester, Davies, Meyler, Huddlestone, Elmohamady, Sagbo, Aluko, Fryatt

Subs: Harper, Bruce, Faye, Henderson, Quinn, Boyd, Koren

Sunderland starting XI: Ustari, Bardsley, Dossena, O'Shea, Vergini, Cattermole, Colback, Larsson, Giaccherini, Fletcher, Scocco.

Subs: Ki, Johnson, Cuellar, Celustka, Bridcutt, Borini, Mannone.

A place in the FA Cup semi-finals is up for grabs today, as Hull City play host to fellow Premier League side Sunderland at the KC Stadium.

Steve Bruce faces his old club as he looks to add a Wembley appearance to the Tigers' impressive first season back in the Premier League, but Gus Poyet's side will be hoping to make another trip to Wembley having lost to Manchester City in last weekend's Carling Cup final.

Sunderland's chances are given a boost with the absence of Hull's new strike duo Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic. The two January arrivals are both cup-tied, and Poyet will be grateful for that having seen the two score a goal each in Hull's recent 2-0 win at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats have staggeringly won just two of their last 31 away games against Premier league opposition in the FA Cup, so the omens aren't exactly with Poyet's side, but Sunderland did win the last FA Cup tie between the two sides in 1976.
