Chelsea have taking their Premier League lead up to nine points this weekend - taking advantage of the lack of Premier League action to sail clear of their nearest rivals and cement their place as title favourites … no matter what Jose Mourinho might say.
The 4-0 scoreline yesterday may have been flattering but the end result did not matter - it was another three points in the bag and an extension of their goal difference.
And one former Blue who was impressed by the result was Brazilian full-back/utility man Juliano Belletti.
The former Barcelona star arrived in London back in August 2007 and despite not being one of the stars of the team he became something of a fan icon at Stamford Bridge.
His excellent and tireless work rate coupled with his propensity to score the odd wonder-goal saw him become a firm cult hero among the Chelsea faithful.
He left in 2010 after his contract expired and returned to Brazil - playing for Fluminense and signing for Ceara before retiring because of a long standing Achilles problem.
Nowadays he acts as a commentator at Portuguese speaking station Sportv - but still keeps up to date with the goings on at his former club.
And yesterday he had just one word for the Chelsea display v Spurs…
