Chelsea have taken the lead against Tottenham Hotspur - and it is Samuel Eto’o who is doing the damage, in fact as I type the Cameroonian has won a penalty and earned Younes Kaboul a red card - which was duly tucked away by Eden Hazard.
Nut he had another Belgian to thank for his opening goal.
Jan Vertonghen got all caught up amongst himself - and without looking played a panicked pass-back toward his goalkeeper.
But it ended up at the feet of Samuel Eto’o - who slotted away with ease.
The former Barcelona striker was not even supposed to be playing - coming in as a late replacement for Fernando Torres - who picked up an injury in the warm up.
And his performance has certainly answered questions recently brought up by Jose Mourinho.
He was caught on French TV discussing his strikers in less than favourable terms - stating:
"The problem with Chelsea is we lack a scorer. I have one (Eto'o) but he's 32. Maybe 35, who knows?"
And Eto’o appears to have taken it in good jest - as he plodded over to the corner flag and used it as a makeshift walking stick for comic effect.
Meanwhile Chelsea’s title march rumbles on.
