CONFIRMED: Crystal Palace & Southampton line-ups

Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace - 23/02/2014

Here is how Crystal Palace and Southampton will line-up for this afternoon’s match:

Crystal Palace starting XI: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Moxey, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Ledley, Puncheon, Bolasie, Murray

Subs: Hennessey, Gabbidon, Bannan, Ince, Thomas, Gayle, Jerome

Southampton starting XI: Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana, Rodriguez, Lambert

Subs: Gazzaniga, Yoshida, Ramirez, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Chambers, Gallagher

This is a match between two of the Premier League’s surprise packages.

While Southampton have been impressing all season, it took the arrival of Tony Pulis to get Crystal Palace up and running. But it will be interesting to see if one of the league’s form teams can beat a side chock-full of recent England stars.

The Saints have won their last four league games against the Eagles, with Palace yet to win in nine previous Premier League matches between the two sides.

However, a victory this afternoon is certainly on the cards given their upturn in fortunes under Pulis, and they could get to the 30 point mark, which looked impossible the day the former Stoke man took charge.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
