CONFIRMED: Arsenal & Everton line-ups - Ozil and Sanogo start

Here is how Arsenal and Everton will line up for this afternoon’s match at the Emirates:

Arsenal starting XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Sanogo

Subs: Viviano, Jenkinson, Rosicky, Ryo, Podolski, Giroud, Gnabry

Everton starting XI: Robles, Coleman, Stones, Distin, Baines, Barkley, Pienaar, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Lukaku

Subs: Howard, Browning, Hibbert, McGeady, Deulofeu, Osman, Naismith

The games do not get any easier for Arsenal as an impressive Everton side visit the Emirates Stadium for the FA Cup quarter-final.

With Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Chelsea just round the corner, Arsene Wenger will know how vital a win is this afternoon to keep the Gunners’ season on track and ensure confidence is high for the challenges ahead.

That said, the Toffees boss knows exactly how to win this competition, having done so last season, and Everton fans will wonder if this is the campaign that sees a long-awaited trophy arrive at Goodison Park.

Arsenal are without Jack Wilshere who was injured on international duty, while Phil Jagielka is not in the visitors’ match-day squad due to a hamstring injury.

Considering the history of these two clubs, it is somewhat surprising that they have only met three times previously in the FA Cup, with Everton winning twice and Arsenal triumphant once.

What do you think today’s result will be?
