Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Cardiff City, Valencia and Marseille stars all feature.
Brendan Rodgers could have a lot of work to do this summer in terms of improving his squad if Liverpool have Champions League football in the bank.
Qualifying for that competition will open up a whole host of new players the club can go after, enabling Rodgers to drastically improve the squad to compete in Europe and the Premier League ahead of next season.
The rumour mill has suggested plenty of potential signings for Rodgers’ club over the past week and we’ve picked out five of the best.
1) Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Borussia Dortmund)
The Borusia Dortmund star refused to rule out a future move to Anfield earlier this week, which has sparked suggestions that Liverpool could go after him. However, the 25-year-old is on a long term deal with BVB until the summer of 2017.
“I'm now in Dortmund and very happy and proud about it. Can I see myself at Liverpool in the future? You know that it doesn't depend entirely on me. But this is life and everything is possible,” he was quoted by Sport-Express.ru.
2) Arda Turan (Atletico Madrid)
Turan won’t be an unfamiliar name to plenty of Liverpool fans because they’ve been linked with a move for him before. His agent, Ahmet Bulut, has confirmed there has been an offer from an English club and it could be Liverpool.
“We have received an offer from an English club. We will see. Arda is playing at a big club with big goals and wants to be a part of their success,” Bulut told Mundo Deportivo.
3) Steven Caulker (Cardiff City)
Caulker has been suggested as the next defensive target for Liverpool with Brendan Rodgers thought to have been impressed by Caulker’s performances this season and from when the pair worked together at Swansea City. Caulker was part of the England squad for the match against Denmark earlier this week.
4) Dani Parejo (Valencia)
The Daily Star has linked Liverpool with a move for Dani Parejo, who has been one of the La Liga side’s standout players so far this season. He’s already experienced life in English football having spent time with QPR in 2008 but is another versatile midfield man really what Liverpool need?
5) Maxime Lopez (Marseille)
The Daily Mail has suggested that Liverpool will pip Arsenal in the race to sign 16-year-old star Maxime Lopez from Marseille. Rodgers has made a habit of investing in youth during his time at the club and the versatile attacking midfielder, who can also play as a striker, could be his next investment.
