Juventus forward Dani Osvaldo has told supporters that he will dress as Jack Sparrow if the Old Lady manage to win their 30th Serie A title this season.

Italian international striker Dani Osvaldo has promised Juventus supporters that he will dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow if the club win the title this season.

Osvaldo, who is on loan from Premier League side Southampton, has often been likened to Pirates of the Caribbean box office star Johnny Depp.

The two share a distinctive look and fashion sense, and Osvaldo is more than aware of his portrayal as being similar to Jack Sparrow, the character which Depp plays.

Engaging with supporters during #AskOsvaldo, an online Twitter question and answer session, the former Roma striker was asked by user @pessotto93 if he would don the attire of the popular character if Juventus were to win the title.

Osvaldo was all too willing to oblige. Issuing his reply via the official Twitter account of Juventus, Osvaldo said:

During the session on Thursday afternoon, Osvaldo also commented on several others aspects of his life.

He said that he felt that he didn't have enough time to adapt during his spell with Southampton, which ended prematurely following a training ground clash with defender Jose Fonte.

“How did I adapt to the Premier League? It was such a brief experience that I didn’t have time to adapt! I did learn that it’s a very tough League.” Osvaldo said.

The controversial forward, who is a huge fan of the Rolling Stones said that had he not been a professional footballer he would have liked to be a guitarist. He stated his favourite Rolling Stones song as 'Wild Horses'.

He also revealed a tradition of always stepping onto the pitch with his right foot first, as well as stating his admiration of Gabriel Batistuta, Juan Roman Riquelme and Carlos Tevez.
