Bad news for Arsenal and Manchester United! Serie A giants linked with swoop on Real Madrid

Italian and Spanish reports suggest Juventus are looking to raid Real Madrid in the summer.

Juventus are reportedly planning a triple swoop to sign three Real Madrid players; Angel Di Maria, Fabio Coentrao and Alvaro Morata.

All three stars have been strongly linked with moves to the Premier League with Manchester United and Arsenal’s interest in them public knowledge with most supporters.

Spanish newspaper Marca points to Italy (La Gazzetta dello Sport) where reports have started originating that the Serie A giants will look to Real Madrid to improve their own squad after the World Cup.

Angel Di Maria has been linked with both sides with Manchester United looking to address an inconsistency with their own wingers while Arsenal have no regular left sided winger in their current squad.

He’d be a superb signing for either but with Juventus coming into the picture, a bidding war will bump up the price of the Argentinian even further.

Coentrao has been more strongly linked with a switch to United as David Moyes looks to sort out a left-back problem, which will be created when Patrice Evra leaves the club.

Evra was tipped to leave at the end of this season but has triggered a clause in his contract which allows him to stay at Old Trafford for a further year.

Morata was being touted as Arsenal’s latest signing when Spanish journalist Guillem Balague suggested that a deal had been agreed between the player and the Gunners, if the clubs could sort out a transfer.

The silver lining for Arsenal in this respect is that Juventus aren’t short of top quality forwards at the moment with Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente, Mirko Vucinic and Arturo Vidal all capable of playing up front for the Italian side.

It’s a story which could stop United and Arsenal getting their hands on players who could improve their squad but whether Juve can do a deal for all three is highly doubtful.
