Park Chu-Young, currently on loan at Watford, has scored for South Korea
Do not adjust your sets, do not book that appointment with the opticians, do not fret over your sanity - you are reading this right.
The South Korean international arrived from AS Monaco in August 2011 - snapped up from under the nose of Lille.
But he has barely made anything like an impact at the club - despite arriving with an excellent reputation.
He has played just SIX minutes of Premier League football since his arrival and has scored just one goal for the club.
He is currently out on loan at Championship outfit Watford and has been given a last chance to impress the Korea boss Hong Myung-Bo before the World Cup in Brazil - with this being his first call-up in thirteen months.
He has over 60 caps for the Taegeuk Warriors - and now he has one more goal after firing in a calm left-foot half volley against Greece this evening.
This is in fact his first goal since he netted for Celta Vigo in March last year.
Now he will hope this goal will help him kick on and secure a place at the World Cup in Brazil…
