A player much linked to the Premier League in January, Blaise Matuidi, showed English fans just what they are missing in France's friendly with Netherlands, scoring a wonder scissor-kick as they emerged 2-0 winners.
The PSG midfielder, playing his 20th game for his country, recently signed a new four-year-contract at the French giants, and celebrated it with his first goal for France in what was a very impressive win for Les Bleus.
Karim Benzema had earlier scored an equally impressive goal to put the home side 1-0 up, and Matuidi, who was rumoured to be a target of both Chelsea and Manchester City in the recent transfer window, scoring a Wayne Rooney-esque effort after a cross from Mathieu Valbuena.
The former Saint-Etienne captain has scored 5 goals in 39 games for the runaway Ligue 1 leaders.
