Chelsea's Alex Kiwomya scored England under-18's only goal in a narrow defeat to Croatia.
Chelsea youngster Alex Kiwomya bagged a goal as England’s under-18s were defeated 2-1 by Croatia.
Kiwomya produced a neat finish in the first-half to put England 1-0 up before the travelling Croatians scored twice in the second period thanks to some slack England defending.
The 17-year-old striker is one of the best attacking prospects in Chelsea’s youth system but he’s enjoyed a mixed bag across different competitions so far in this campaign.
He’s struggled in the under-21 Premier League with one goal and three assists but has been one of the best players in the UEFA youth League so far this season with five goals and three assists from seven matches.
