Piers Morgan says Hazard is 'still overrated' and Arsenal are 'hopeless'

Piers Morgan

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan took to Twitter as usual this weekend to vent about all things Arsenal and, as it transpired, a few things Chelsea, too.

Piers Morgan does appear to love Twitter.  And he took to the social media site again on Saturday afternoon to have his say on Arsenal's 1-0 defeat away to Stoke City, and Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

The imperious Belgian was at the heart of the Blues's 3-1 victory against Fulham, and while he may not have scored himself, he combined with Andre Schurrle for two of the German's three strikes.

He also pulled off an audacious 'Rabona' cross that Fernando Torres really should have buried.

But Morgan did not appear to be impressed with that particular trick, tweeting that Hazard was "still overrated", following an earlier, similar claim from the television presenter.  He also joked that he did the same trick when he played football with his sons.

But it was his side Arsenal for whom he really reserved the criticism, saying that the defeat to the Potters was the "usual story against any big physical team".  He also returned to the fact that Arsene Wenger failed to sign a striker in January - something Morgan has previously highlighted as a major oversight.

Giving credit to Stoke, Morgan also wrote that while Arsenal were "hopeless", their opponents "fought harder, wanted it more and deserved to win".
