I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 2nd March 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 2nd March 2013…
Bid for Arsenal
Arsenal were reportedly set to be the subject of a bid from a consortium in the Middle East. A reported £1.5 billion bid for the club was reportedly being eyed up by a group of investors in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The reported offer would be for 100% of the club and would hope to capitalise on the fractions in the Arsenal boardroom.
Of course the very next day Stan Kroenke ruled out any such move for the club - insisting that he has absolutely no intention of selling the club.
And just like that the story seemed to disappear.
Manchester United fans got the best glimpse yet of the talent Shinji Kagawa has in his locker.
The Japanese international had struggled to make an impact at Manchester United but he was on fire against The Canaries.
He scored a hat-trick of cheeky goals in a 4-0 bruising against Chris Hughton’s side but he has not lived up to that since.
In fact he has scored just one more time for United in the past 12 months - in the 5-5 draw against West Brom on the final day of last season.
Shear lack of class
Alan Shearer was having a go at Chelsea - and called them a ‘mess’ and ‘embarrassing’ in the wake of remarks made by Rafa Benitez.
Benitez had criticised the clubs fans and hierarchy in a recent rant - and Shearer said:
"There is no class there, is there? I just feel the whole club is a mess, it's embarrassing. Rafa obviously feels he's taken enough punches and he's decided to have a go back.”
