CONFIRMED: Tottenham & Cardiff line-ups

Here is how Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City will line-up for this afternoon’s match at White Hart Lane:

Tottenham starting XI: Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Vertonghen, Fryers, Lennon, Dembele, Paulinho, Townsend, Adebayor, Soldado

Subs: Friedel, Veljkovic, Bentaleb, Chadli, Sandro, Sigurdsson, Kane

Cardiff City starting XI: Marshall, Caulker, Turner, Fabio, Medel, Kim, Gunnarsson, Cala, John, Bellamy, Campbell,

Subs: Lewis, Cowie, Theophile, Mutch, Daehli, Zaha, Jones

Following their outstanding come-back in the Europa League last week, Tottenham will be hoping to maintain that form when they welcome Cardiff City to White Hart Lane.

Emmanuel Adebayor is in sublime form and he will be confident of adding to his tally against a Bluebirds side desperate to scramble clear of the relegation-zone.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he is the right man for the job, but it is time he starts proving that with results that back-up his admirable confidence.

Jordon Mutch and Craig Bellamy are both available following injury and suspension respectively, while Sandro is back for Spurs after a two-month absence from league duty.

Having seen Arsenal drop points yesterday, Tottenham will know a victory will take them to within six points of their North London rivals, while Cardiff will know a victory will see them in the relegation zone only on goal-difference.

What do you think today’s result will be?
