I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 28th February 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 28th February 2013…
Tottenham were reportedly readying a move for Brazilian international Leandro Damiao - and not for the first time.
The Internacional striker had long been a transfer target for manager Andre Villas-Boas - even whilst he was boss at Porto.
The rumour had it that Emmanuel Adebayor would be on his way out of the club - as the Brazilian arrived for a big fee.
However he soon stated that Damiao was no longer a target for the club - and he has since switched to Santos in his homeland.
The Mexican had become a sensation since leaving for Real Sociedad, but The Gunners had a buy-back clause inserted in that deal - which meant they could bring him back on the cheap.
However, amid speculation that Arsene Wenger could do just that, he made it clear he was going nowhere:
"I've never regretted signing for Real and the results prove me right. I think my decision to stay at Real is looking more and more like the right one. I've never regretted coming back. I came because I trusted the team and I thought we could get better. “
A new Erik for United?
Manchester United were being heavily linked with AS Roma winger Erik Lamela.
The Argentine was becoming one of the most sought after talents in Europe - and he, along with team-mate Marquinhos, was being lined up as a potential newbie at Old Trafford.
We all know how this story ends though.
Lamela was instead snapped up by Tottenham Hotspur for around £30 million - and has had a woeful season with form, happiness and injury.
A lucky dodge no doubt.
