Rudi Garcia's spell at Roma has been an impressive one, with the Frenchman getting the best out of midfielder Daniele de Rossi.
De Rossi's future had been in doubt last summer, after making just 17 Serie A starts the season before, even the player has previously admitted he was considering a new challenge.
Manchester United were aware of that, and lodged a bid for him - but typically for David Moyes, he was too late, De Rossi had been through his wobble and assured new boss Rudi Garcia he wanted to stay.
When the new coach arrived though, De Rossi was far from sure, and admits he did not really know who the former Lille title winning coach was.
He told Corriere dello Sport: "I had some doubts. seemed that they had chose him because he had failed to get Mazzarri or take Allegri.
"We could think he was the fourth choice, I remember that I went on the internet and I typed in his name and the first thing that it is out there is a video in which he plays the guitar. I cursed and thought: but who is this?"
Right now, De Rossi is certainly very happy it was Garcia who was appointed:
"I sincerely thank God every day that we have taken him, he can be a turning point in the history of Roma. I am not exaggerating: he can make us win."
The 30-year-old midfielder has been back to his best this season, illustrating that he is enjoying his football once again.
We just wonder if he decided to also Google a certain David Moyes and would or indeed does know who he is.
