This weekend sees Call of Duty pro teams from all across Europe battle it out for a place in the world championship final.
London will be full of some of Europe’s best competitive gamers this weekend as 26 teams from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and the rest of Europe will be slogging it out for a chance to be at the prestigious Call of Duty Championship which will be held on the 28th-30th March in Los Angeles where the winners of this stage could get to win a share of the $1,000,000 prize fund that’s up for grabs.
The Call of Duty European Championships is on the 1st - 2nd March at the Twickenham Stadium where 26 teams from across Europe will compete for a €15,000 prize.
The top eight teams will then qualify for the global Call of Duty Championship which incidentally is the first competitive prize tournament to be held on the Xbox One.
The teams that have made it this far should feel pleased with themselves as over the last month, more than 500 teams across Europe competed for a spot in London this weekend.
Eight UK teams have made it through qualified for the championship taking place the weekend and they will face-off against each other, with the top four teams heading to California for the global Call of Duty championship.
