Here are the sides Roberto Mancini and Jose Mourinho have gone with this evening, kick-off at 19:45 GMT.
Galatasaray: Muslera, Eboue, Chedjou, Hakan Balta, Alex Telles, Selçuk, Melo, Burak, Sneijder, Hajrovic, Drogba
Subs: Ceylan, Kaya, Sanoglu, Gulselam, Kurtulus, Colak, Bulut
Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Lampard, Willian, Schurrle, Hazard, Torres
Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Kalas, Oscar, Mikel, Ba, Eto'o
Jose Mourinho and Roberto Mancini have both been at it in the build up to this game suggesting that their opponents are each the favourites for this tie, with the Italian giving the Blues an 80% chance of progressing.
Chelsea go into this game off the back of a narrow and late 1-0 win against Everton last weekend thanks to a John Terry header. They haven’t been at their best in Europe this season but Mourinho is one of the best around when it comes to precision tactical play aimed at getting results.
Chelsea will be looking to simply still be in the tie after the 90 minutes because they would back themselves to beat any team at Stamford Bridge by a comfortable margin.
Galatasaray will be looking to Chelsea icon Didier Drogba to give them an advantage heading into the second leg and they will also be relying on their notoriously intimidating home support to hand them an advantage.
