Van Persie criticises United tactics on Dutch TV

Robin van Persie is claimed to have criticised United's tactical approach to games.

The fallout from Manchester United's loss to Olympiakos continues, and it isn't pretty for the Red Devils.

Most concerning are reports from the Dutch media, and also reported by ITV, that striker Robin van Persie is unhappy with the club's tactics.

As also relayed by Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker via Twitter:

With regards to the Olympiakos loss, there was nobody in Van Persie's path when he was gifted a late opportunity, only to scoop the ball badly over the crossbar.

A goal by the Dutchman would have given the loss a very different spin, with a crucial chance for the away goal begging.

Despite his reported unhappiness with the tactics, Van Persie has still managed to score 12 goals in 18 starts this season.

Yet with rumours linking him with wanting a move back to Arsenal, his latest comment will only add fuel to the fire that he is increasingly restless at Old Trafford.
