A photo of Chelsea’s presumed new away kit for the 2014/15 season has been released, and it’s yellow.

According to todosobrecamisetas, Chelsea’s new away shirt has been released for viewing long before it has hit the shelves.

The Blues this season adopted a white and blue away kit, in an opposite fashion to their home strip. Their third kit was a rather striking all-black kit, yet that is all going to change next season.

Chelsea have adopted a yellow and blue away kit in the past, with their most recent being in the 2008/09 season, a campaign in which they finished third in the Premier League.

The one noticeable difference between this proposed away kit for next season and that of 2008/09 is the shade of yellow. In 2008/09, it was more of a mustard yellow, reminiscent of their away strip during the Claudio Ranieri era. Next year’s strip however is lighter, similar to the colours worn when Coors brewing company sponsored the London club – and very similar to the Brazilian national team’s colours.

The possible decision to resort back to yellow will certainly go down well with a number of Chelsea’s current stars. Midfield playmaker Oscar, David Luiz, Ramires and new recruit Willian all form a Brazilian contingent in West London, and the alleged new kit could bring back some happy memories – especially if the World Cup hosts triumph this summer.

The big question remains… Who are going to be the lucky stars to possibly wear it? Any surprises this summer Jose?

What do you think to Chelsea’s supposed new away kit for the 2014/15 season? Which new stars would you like to wear it?
