A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted at a possible move for AS Monaco star Radamel Falcao.
The striker has been linked with Chelsea in the past and Mourinho’s comments suggest he could push the Blues into making a bid this summer.
“I have a team but no striker. A player like him can't play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end [your career with],” said Mourinho.
Former Chelsea star Didier Drogba has been talking ahead of Galatasaray’s clash against the Blues this week.
The Champions League last 16 first leg in Turkey provides an opportunity for the Chelsea icon to play against his former club.
“Chelsea will always have a special place in my heart. And in my life. It's nice to play against your old team, but when you are emotional, like me, it's going to be difficult. I have to be professional and respect the shirt I am wearing,” he’s quoted by the Telegraph.
The Blues remain in great shape in the league following a late 1-0 win against Everton last weekend.
“We have never thought that we can’t win the title – but Jose Mourinho came to Chelsea to do big things for the long run which he is trying to do,” said the forward.
