Aleksandr Hleb's career has not exactly panned out as he would have expected it to when he left Arsenal to sign for Barcelona.
He failed to break into the team at the Nou Camp, and the midfielder was loaned out to Stuttgart, Birmingham City and Werder Bremen as injuries also derailed his progress, and his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
Hleb was released by BATE Borisov in his native Belarus in December as his contract expired, and signed with Turkish Super Liga side Konyaspor.
Konyaspor sit 11th in the division, with Hleb netting his first goal for the club at the weekend in a 2-2 away draw at Genclerbirligi, his fifth appearance for the club.
The midfielder is now 32, and is pictured above celebrating with his teammates after scoring the goal. Rather than Hleb on the back of his shirt, he simply sports 'Alex'.
