Swansea City's bid to pull away from trouble was dealt a blow as they slipped to a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Two goals each from Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson earned Brendan Rodgers a win over his former side, but they were made to work hard for their win, as goals from ex-Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and Wilfried's Bony's brace kept Swansea in the game up until Henderson's 74th minute winner.
It was another defeat for Swansea, who sit in 12th place, just four points above the drop zone. Whilst they still need to pick up their results, the performances have improved massively under caretaker boss Garry Monk, and many fans have pointed out that there has been a huge change in the displays from the days of former boss Michael Laudrup.
With many fans disappointed that Swansea's impressive performances on Merseyside, here are the post-match reactions from Swans supporters via Twitter, with much praise for Monk and the effect he has had on the players.
The difference between Swans under Laudrup and Swans under Monk is incredible. So, what's the secret? What's making the difference? #Swans— Inside SCFC (@InsideSCFC) February 23, 2014
