This afternoon, Chelsea come face to face with Everton in arguably the match of the weekend: The current Premier League leaders against a side who have come on leaps and bounds under new boss Roberto Martinez.
With Romelu Lukaku ineligible to play for his parent-club, the Toffees are likely to pin their hopes on another on-loan front man – Lacina Traore – and Blues midfielder Willian has had his say on the Ivorian.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official club website, the Brazilian said of his former Anzhi teammate, “He’s a great player.
“He’s a very tall player who can protect the ball and knows how to score goals.
“We will have to be very attentive and take good notice of him because he’s a dangerous player, and if you give him an opportunity he will score.”
Traore has already proved that, netting in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Swansea City last weekend.
And with a European place still very much an option for Martinez’s side, he will be hoping Traore can get on the score-sheet again this afternoon, and help the Toffees complete a double over Jose Mourinho’s men.
