When Southampton snapped up Pablo Dani Osvaldo in the summer it was an exciting - but undoubtedly risky move.
Osvaldo was a favourite of Mauricio Pochettino at Espanyol when they two were paired together and he moved fast to snap him up in the summer for a club record fee of £15 million when he became upset at AS Roma.
However he came with baggage.
He had essentially been ran out of town by disgruntled Roma fans and had been known to get in the odd scuffle with team-mates - once punching Tottenham flop Erik Lamela in training.
Six months on and he left the The Saints after a dismal time on the South Coast.
Osvaldo struggled for form, despite some flashes of excellence, before he found himself suspended for his actions against Newcastle United.
Then, he got in a fight with club stalwart Jose Fonte in training and was suspended for two weeks by the club - and expected to leave.
That he did - joining Juventus on loan until the end of the season. And he was very happy to make the move - as he clearly never settled into English football and in all honesty it doesn’t look like he will be coming back.
He is loving life in Turin - and today bagged his first goal for the club.
Two former Manchester United stars, Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba, combined for a late second in the 2-0 win.
