27-year-old Colombian Fredy Guarin is still on the radar of Manchester United manager David Moyes, according to French website LE10 Sport.
United's interest in the central-midfielder dates back before the January transfer window opened, when there was talk of a possible swap deal between the midfielder and out-of-favour striker Javier Hernandez.
Due to the lack of willing sellers in the January transfer window, the focus from United was put solely on Spanish star Juan Mata and a possible deal for the Guarin was put on the back burner, the report claims. The Mail however claimed previously that David Moyes had turned down the chance to sign the midfielder.
Chelsea and Juventus also had reported interest in the Internazionale midfielder but the transfer window passed with the Colombian still playing at the San Siro.
It is said that Guarin would be keen on a move to Old Trafford, however, Inter are willing to fight to keep their man.
Rumours have been circulating that Walter Mazzarri is keen to keep hold of his midfield star and despite still having two-years left on his contract he could be offered a three-year extension, with a substantial pay increase.
It's likely that their could be a scramble for the 27-year-old's signature in the summer and Guarin may wait and see what offers come his way after this season finishes.
