Benitez: We'll treat Swansea like Champions League

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is taking this evening's Europa League clash against Swansea City very seriously.

Napoli are at the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City in the Europa League and coach Rafa Benitez insists the competition is extremely important to his side.

The Partenopei could count themselves unlucky not to still be part of the Champions League having performed very impressively in the group stage.

Despite amassing 12 points, including a final matchday win over Arsenal, Napoli were eliminated with the Gunners and Borussia Dortmund reaching the knockout stages.

Napoli, like Serie A rivals Juventus, now have to console themselves with the Europa League and will take on Swansea this evening.

"Swansea are a good team and we have to play with the same character that we show in the Champions League," Benitez said in his pre-match press conference.

"Swansea have changed their manager but it is never easy to take on a Premier League side.

"We play every game to win and in a tie like this one it is important to score away from home."

Napoli are still waiting on news as to the fitness of star striker Gonzalo Higuain and defender Raul Albiol.

"We will have to see how Higuain looks in training and Albiol isn't 100 percent," Benitez revealed.

"But we are a more solid and balanced squad thanks to our January signings."
