James McArthur’s wife is preparing to have their child tonight, but the Wigan man has different plans.

The two European heavyweights are set to go tooth and nail at the Emirates stadium tonight, providing ferocious attacking verve as fans and pundits alike await with much-anticipation.
Bayern go into the game on the back of 13 straight Bundesliga victories, and warmed up with a 4-0 thrashing of Freiburg on Saturday. Their domestic form has been nothing short of magnificent – racking up a Bundesliga record breaking 46 games unbeaten.
The hosts, Arsenal, on the other had have stuttered slightly over the past couple of weeks. Reported problems off the field were then heaped on the field as a result of a recent 5-1 thrashing at Anfield. Fortunately for the Gunners, their home form has remained solid and a 0-0 draw with Man Utd was followed by last weekend’s much-needed 2-1 FA Cup victory over Liverpool.
Much of the build-up has been about Guardiola’s recent clashes against Arsenal, and if tonight turns out half as good as those, then we fans are in for a footballing treat.
