Arsenal's final training session before the Bayern Munich game is under way.
Arsenal’s stars prepared for their mega clash against Bayern Munich with an open training session this morning ahead of Arsene Wenger’s official press conference.
Arsenal go into the game off the back of a solid performance and win against Liverpool in the FA Cup last Sunday. It’s an important match for Arsene Wenger and the club against one of the favourites to retain their crown.
The Gunners are likely to be without Thomas Vermaelen for the game who has a calf problem, with Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott long term absentees. Santi Cazorla should return after missing the Liverpool game with an illness.
The aim for the Gunners is simple; keep things tight and try to secure a win to take back to the Allianz Arena. Most importantly, they need to keep a clean sheet due to the perilous nature of away goals in the competition, which could be the difference at the end of the second 90 minutes in Germany.
