German international Mesut Ozil has sent Bayern Munich a special message through Facebook account.
Wednesday evening promises to be a special event at the Emirates stadium as Arsenal take on reigning European champions Bayern Munich.
The German juggernaut go into the game in spectacular form, notching up 13 Bundesliga victories on the trot, including an impressive 3-0 win over title-rivals Dortmund at the intimidating Westfalenstadion.
Arsenal warmed up for their game with a jittery 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup, but it was a victory all the same and it will have given the Gunners a much-needed confidence boost ahead of Wednesday.
Arsenal’s German contingent Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and record signing Mesut Ozil will know all about Pep Guardiola’s men, and they will be excited to face a number of their national teammates.
£42.4m record signing Mesut Ozil has been slightly out of form lately - failing to score in a number of games and being harshly criticised by section of the British media – but the 25-year-old still has the backing of his own manager and teammates.
Writing a message ahead of the Bayern clash, Ozil also assured Gunners’ supporters that they have nothing to fear, as Superman, Hulk and Rambo are all on their side:
Bayern Munich, be very afraid…
