Bayern ace: Ozil is Arsenal's key man, but we are worried about...

Bayern's Jerome Boateng is worried about the Emirates crowd.

Jerome Boateng has been speaking out ahead of the Champions League tie between Arsenal and Bayern Munich, and is clear on who the Germans need to be wary of.

The former Manchester City defender unsurprisingly selects record signing Mesut Ozil as the dangerman, who has the ability to unlock a defence even as solid as theirs, who haven't conceded so far this month in four matches.

But it is the worry of playing under the floodlights in a packed and likely vociferious Emirates stadium which is causing the German international more concern, as the x-factor a side even as well prepared as theirs cannot control.

Man for man, Bayern stack up favourably against Arsenal in many departments, even if the Gunners are not too far behind. Boateng believes the home crowd can give their opponents the edge and be a tipping point if they do not raise their own game accordingly.

He stated: "Mesut Özil is the key player of Arsenal. We'll have to be careful, because the fans will push them big time. We will (have to) demonstrate in the field to be stronger."

The game at The Emirates panned out perfectly for Bayern last season. They shell-shocked Arsenal early on, silencing the crowd by winning 3-1.

Boateng's comments hint there is no room for complaceny this time around either, but there will be an added element of worry given that Arsenal did beat them in the second leg.

If the Gunners can do what Liverpool did to them 10 days ago by scoring in the opening minutes, it will send the crowd wild and create an even tougher environment for Bayern to play their usual stifling possession football.
