Italian newspaper La Repubblica have claimed that Cesare Prandelli will move to White Hart Lane after the World Cup.
Tim Sherwood has stepped into the Tottenham manager’s job with aplomb, leading the North London side towards the top four since taking over from Andre Villas-Boas.
The former midfielder has demanded the respect of the dressing room, with Spurs in the hint for Champions League qualification as a result.
However, with Sherwood’s lack of managerial experience, rumours over bigger name bosses moving to take on the White Hart Lane club continue.
The latest rumbling comes from Italy, with La Repubblica claiming that Cesare Prandelli has already agreed a deal to become the next Tottenham boss after the World Cup.
The Italian news source have stated that an agreement is in place, and that the 56-year-old will move to North London ahead of next season.
Prandelli has been the head coach of the Azzurri since 2010, and had previously managed Fiorentina, Roma and Parma.
Sherwood has admitted that his future will depend on where Spurs finish this season, with pressure on him to succeed.
