CONFIRMED: Manchester City & Chelsea line-ups

Here is how Manchester City and Chelsea will line-up for this evening’s match at the Etihad Stadium:

Manchester City starting XI: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Lescott, Clichy, Kompany, Garcia, Toure, Milner, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko

Subs: Hart, Richards, Demichelis, Kolarov, Navas, Negredo, Nasri

Chelsea starting XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Mikel, Matic, Ramires, Willian, Hazard, Eto’o

Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Lampard, Salah, Schurrle, Oscar, Torres

This match was only going to go one way – at least in the eyes of the pundits – until Chelsea showed everyone else that it was possible not just to beat Manchester City at home, but to come away with a clean-sheet, too.

Jose Mourinho’s tactics worked to perfection the last time these two sides met and it will be interesting to see if he attempts the same thing again…and what Manuel Pellegrini has up his sleeve to counter it.

The hosts are without injured pair Sergio Aguero and Fernando, while Chelsea are without John Terry.

Both sides will know a victory today will be a huge step on the road to FA Cup success, and both managers will be desperate to hold the cup aloft come May.

What do you think the result will be?
