We recently ran a poll asking Arsenal fans whether they thought controversial striker Mario Balotelli would be a good signing for the club and the unanimous results are in.
Just over 73% of those who voted in the poll suggested that going after Balotelli would be a good idea for the club considering everything that Italian striker takes around with him in terms of attitude and controversy.
Few can argue with his statistics; ten goals and three assists in Serie A and two goals and two assists in the Champions League.
Reports last week suggested that the possibility of Balotelli moving back to the Premier League with Arsenal in the summer was very realistic.
His agent has been connected to talks with Arsenal representatives and it’s the sort of move which could sort Balotelli’s profile; a big money deal for him to settle in the heart of North London.
In terms of a fee, that shouldn’t be a problem for Arsenal either.
The striker’s contract expires in 2017 so any price tag will be huge but reports have just revealed that the Gunners have around £140 million sitting in the bank in cash available for players.
The message is loud and clear. Get your cheque book out and snap him up in the summer!
