Neymar has been struggling with an ankle injury but will likely face Manuel Pellegrini’s men next week.
The ex-Santos attacker has missed the Camp Nou side’s last eight games in a row due to an ankle injury, but has been named in the Catalan side’s matchday squad to face Rayo Vallecano in La Liga today.
“We'll resolve how best to insert Neymar [into the team]," Martino said at a press conference.
"He looks good, I've never seen him in a bad mood. I don't see any effect from matters outside of sport.
"He has a lot of qualities and will do well in any position."
Although Neymar will need to be reintroduced to the Barcelona first-team set-up slowly but surely, he is likely to face Manchester City in the Champions League in some capacity.
The first leg of the knockout round glamour tie will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
