Man City man set for Juventus loan in summer?

There are reports in Italy that Juventus are aiming to sign Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic in the summer on loan.

Stevan Jovetic made his name in Italy for Fiorentina and he could return to Serie A this summer, according to reports in Tuttosport.

The 24-year-old was impressive at the Stadio Artemio Franchi where he played between 2008 and 2013 after leaving Serbian side Partizan.

Manchester City swooped for Jovetic in July 2013 and paid a whopping £22m for him, but that investment hasn't really paid off.

In fact, Jovetic has made only a handful of appearances for Manuel Pellegrini and there are rumours that the two men don't see eye to eye.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport is reporting today that Juventus director Beppe Marotta is hoping to do a similar deal to the one which brought Carlos Tevez to Turin.

It is suggested that Jovetic would join Juventus on a paid loan basis with the option to make the deal permanent for around £12m.

Tuttosport claims that Juventus already spoke to the player's representatives last summer when he nearly joined the Old Lady and that a reduction in salary would be no problem.

The arrival of Jovetic would probably be dependent on the departures of Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella.
