Dnipro are managed by former Spurs boss Juande Ramos who offered his opinion on the club he used to manage ahead of next week’s clash, saying they are more interested in the resale of players than competing for honours.
Ramos told the Daily Mail: ‘Why aren’t Spurs going to win the league? Because they are always a small step below those three or four teams. Economically it works well but in sporting terms it needs a slight tuning. What are you chasing? Titles or economic success?’
TalkSport have profiled PSG left-back Lucas Digne, indicating that both Spurs and Liverpool could battle it out for the Frenchman’s services in the summer. Digne’s chances have been limited this season at the French champions and he could be open to a move away from the club – with both Premier League sides said to be interested in a new left-back.
