Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is feeling bullish about his side's top-four chances.
After watching Spurs thrash Newcastle 4-0 at St. James' Park, with Emmanuel Adebayor adding two more goals to his extraordinary recent tally, the 45-year-old urged his side to keep up their strong run of form.
Apart from a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, Tottenham's last 10 games have seen them draw twice and win seven, with Sherwood's men moving to within three points of fourth-placed Liverpool in that time.
And the Spurs coach has warned the Reds to keep looking over their shoulder, as the north London side continue to breathe down their necks.
"The boys looked sharp from the start. We've got to keep on the tail of Liverpool. They are relentless," he told reporters after the game.
"I hope they keep on checking over their shoulders and see Spurs are still there."
Sherwood also admitted he was pleased with his side's start to the 4-0 win over the Magpies, after Adebayor had put them ahead in the 19th minute.
"I'm a perfectionist," the Tottenham boss said.
"There was a spell at start of the second half when Hugo [Lloris] had to pull off some saves. I've been critical of the way we've started matches but not today."
