Premier League fans, or at least supporters with an account on were asked to vote for which Championship promotion contender they would most like to see back in the Premier League next season.

The options included all three East Midland rivals Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Leicester City, with the City Ground side winning the poll at a canter.

Currently at the top of the division, Leicester City are club most likely club to be promoted this season, with a strong possibility of them winning the division as well.

Burnley, Queens Park Rangers, Derby County and Nottingham Forest have all found themselves in a battle for that second automatic promotion spot and Burnley are currently the side that reside in it.

There is 16 games to go (17 for QPR) and as we all know the Championship has a tendency of throwing up some wild results. Even Leicester can't be sure of promotion until it is mathematically done.

With it likely to go right up until the very last game once again, it could be the sides with the greatest mental strength that eventually wins a Premier League place.
