Marco van Ginkel has confirmed he's started training again following a knee injury.
Chelsea have been handed a massive boost with the news that Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel has resumed training.
The Chelsea star has been missing ever since he was forced off during the League Cup win against Swindon Town, initially ruled out for six months at the end of September.
Van Ginkel used his Instagram account to publish a photo of himself in training with one of Chelsea’s youth teams as he looks to build his fitness back up and improve his match sharpness.
The 21-year-old made just four first team appearances under Jose Mourinho before his injury, following his £8 million move from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
Only Mourinho will be able to provide an official update on how he’ll be used over the rest of the season but he could feature in youth team football for the club, possibly getting back into the first team squad towards the end of the season.
