Zaha: My Instagram NOT a dig at United boss David Moyes

Wilfried Zaha Clear1

Wilfried Zaha insists his controversial post on Instagram was not a dig at his Manchester United boss.

Wilfried Zaha caused himself plenty of needless grief last night with an ill-thought out social media posting.

He uploaded a photo of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the caption 'Nothing like someone who believes in you...', which caused uproar among supporters.

The Cardiff loanee then deleted the caption, and later tried to explain his comment on Twitter - before even deleting those Tweets too.

The winger was not granted a single Premier League start by David Moyes, and already has featured from the start for Cardiff under Solksjaer.

Zaha's actions were defended by Match of the Day post Gary Lineker, who argued he did little wrong:

Considering the pressure Moyes finds himself under however, Zaha's comment was ill-judged and naive at best, the act of a youngster posting on social media without considering the repercussions.
